Where's the Medical Research?

Some people are saying there is no medical evidence that detoxification works. I've heard it may even be dangerous.

The medical research and evidence is very thin on the ground, especially for a juice detox.

Why?

The drug companies who mostly conduct medical research won't make any money out of juicing, that's why! There are no drugs or products to sell!
And make no mistake, the pharmaceutical industry is huge, with a lot of influence over country economies. The fruit and vegetable growers cannot compete with them.

I've been juice detoxing and on a detox diet for almost 2 years, and never felt better in my whole life. That's the only proof I need.

I used to get run down, tired, and catch everything going around. Everyone else would have the flu for a week - I'd be down with it for 2 or 3 weeks. Well, I haven't been sick since my first juice detox nearly 2 years ago. I know juice detoxing works!

Can Lack of Sleep Make You Fat?

Researchers at the University of Chicago have discovered that chronic sleep loss can reduce the body's ability to regulate hormones and process carbohydrates.

Insufficient sleep can affect 3 hormones that contribute to obesity :
  • A decrease in Leptin, an appetite-suppressing hormone.
  • An increase in Ghrelin, the hormone that controls hunger pangs, causing greater feelings of hunger.
  • An increase in the stress hormone, Cortisol, which increases fat storage.

Sleep is important in keeping not only your waistline trim, but your brain activity balanced as well. While you're asleep , brain neurotransmitters - the chemicals that deliver messages between nerve cells in your brain - are replenished. When you don't get enough sleep, your brain chemicals become depleted, causing emotional disturbances.

A juice detox followed by a detox diet can not only help the neurotransmitters function at their best by clearning out the toxins that inhibit them, it also allows a much more restful sleep. Your body is clear of most toxins, so it doesn't have to work as hard while you are sleeping.

Toxins Are Also Known As Poisons

Practitioners of alternative medicine often apply the term “toxins” in a non-specific manner to refer to a broad category of harmful substances claimed to cause ill health.

Pollutants can be poisonous, or they can be non-poisonous but harmful in other ways.

When used non-technically, the term "toxin" is often applied to any toxic substance.

Within chemistry and physics, a poison is a substance that obstructs or inhibits a reaction, for example by binding to a
catalyst. These interfere with the body’s natural mechanisms, and can cause diseases and other conditions.

Some examples of substances that are poisonous to our bodies are :

Carcinogens, such as some artificial sweeteners, Asbestos, Benzene, Carbon tetrachloride, Dioxin, and tobacco.

Mutagens, such as Ultraviolet rays (Long term exposure may cause skin cancer such as Melanoma) and other Ionizing Radiation (causes radiation sickness and cancer).

There are many, many more, quite a lot of them we come into contact with everyday.

Metabolism Booster

When toxins from our environment accumulate inside our bodies, the liver develops fatty acid saturation and as these vital cells die, bile flow becomes inhibited making the digestion of fats more difficult. Metabolism also slows down.

Our own natural weight control system is being poisoned by the toxic chemicals we encounter everyday.

It therefore becomes more and more difficult to lose weight, even if we eat less.
Eliminating the toxins increases our ability to lose weight - less effort for quicker results.

Detoxification is a natural metabolism booster. And the best detoxing program is also natural, that is juice detoxing.

Natural Cure For High Blood Pressure

A natural cure for high blood pressure consists of managing the excessive pressure of blood against the walls of blood vessels, and can be divided into 2 parts.

1. Detoxification
Diets of processed and overcooked foods deposit inorganic minerals and cholesterol against walls of blood vessels, narrowing and hardening them and raising blood pressure. A by-product if this is an excess retention of toxic by-products of protein putrefaction in the digestive tract and liver.
Eliminating toxins with a detox resoves this issue.

2. Lifestyle Modifications
Weight loss, a healthy diet and improved physical fitness, are the first steps to a natural cure for high blood pressure.
A diet rich in fruits and vegetables and fat-free dairy foods, and low in fat and sodium lowers blood pressure in people with hypertension. Dietary sodium (salt) causes hypertension in some people and reducing salt intake decreases blood pressure in a third of people. Regular mild exercise improves blood flow, and helps to lower blood pressure.
Maintaining a healthy bodyweight can help control high blood pressure. Even a modest weight loss can significantly improve it.

The Amazing Diet Plan is a detox diet, to eliminate harmful toxins, initially, then maintain the cleansing through a diet of carefully chosen, healthy foods.
